What did your high school self love to do that your adult self has forgotten in exchange for a more practical existence? When Vanessa began to consider getting back to work after having 5 children, she recalled her love for photography and got to work making it her gig. Vanessa is the founder of two brands: Story Book Imaging – a lifestyle photography brand and Intimate Chapters – boudoir photography.
Vanessa shows us how we can create and persevere in our business despite international and cross-country moves, family transitions, health hurdles, and mental health challenges. We delve into the necessity of assembling our support team to make the dream work and allowing ourselves to prioritize our self care when our tendency may be to put others first.
